[英文釋義] A mitochondrial myopathy characterized by slowly progressive paralysis of the levator palpebrae,orbicularis oculi,and extraocular muscles. Ragged-red fibers and atrophy are found on muscle biopsy. Familial and sporadic forms may occur.
